Embroiders trip to liverpool

We had a lovely day out in memory of Mandy's mum. Off to Liverpool and surrounding area for the day. First call was the Silk Museum in Macklesfield. A lovely museum and it was a shame we could go to the working looms in the old part of the museum. The work on exhibition was a mixture of work from the Embroiders guild collection and featured a wide range of styles and techniques. What really caught my eye was the looms, threads and pattern cards in the museum. Thanks to Mandy for the lovely day, I am sure her mum would have loved it too.
