New work on the go...

I have to thank my hubby for the idea of working landscape rather than portrait. I love the drawing and hope I can translate it into my stitched collage...

So onto the collage. Continuing my theme of papers with a past to create my landscape and then drawing with the machine to connect the sections. Inspired by Angie Lewin's work I decided to add some hand stitching to create the feel of the wind and movement through the weeds and seeds.

On to the next layer of plants inspired by Ribwort Plantain, or my seed head soldiers. Again ready for more drawing with my machine..
