Day 2's work completed

Sorry it has taken a while to upload the work from Sunday. I needed a while to recover after a fantastic weekend. So here goes. Over all the weekend was fantastic and I met some lovely ladies that worked really hard during the weekend. Here is the work they completed. Day 2...on the go

Well day 2 at Garstang with Creative Threads was well underway. I decided to photography the collages before any stitching or embellishments took place. Here are the results... again they are all different.

Creative Threads workshop day 1

Up early and off to Garstang Preston to run 2 stitched collage workshops. After making it through the rain I arrived at the lovely Garstang Arts Centre. 14 ladies arrived ready to play hard. After my introduction everyone got busy down to work. It still amazes me how everyone takes the same information and interprets it their own way. After spending the morning collage a range of paper and fabric we had a break for lunch before to sewing began. The work was already beginning to look really good from hedgehogs to beach huts, everyone's was different. Once the sewing began you could really see the work come alive. Have a look at the work done and more will follow tomorrow after the second workshop. For me now its sleep as I am a very happy but tired girl. Xx
